Venue- The Thornwood Castle, Lakewood WA
Photo- Sergey Usik Photography

Bride and groom wanted their wedding to be elegant and intimate with only close friends and family. The Thornwood Castle Venue combines the architecture timeless elegance with gorgeous view of the lake and a vintage style garden. When a bride and groom visited the Thornwood castle a first time they instantly fall in love with this magical place.

Colors of the wedding were soft and dusty pink combined with light butter cream. Beautiful and elegant bride was holding gorgeous cascade bouquet, all in white, made of Phalaenopsis orchids, garden roses, and dendrobium orchids and finished with decorative pearls.

Every bridesmaids were the same in a colors and different in a design long dress. Against soft dusty pink colors of the dresses their bouquets looked very springy and sunny even it was so raining and dark outside.

Ceremony room was decorated only in white flowers making room lighter, classy, and elegant. When a bride appeared on a top of the stairs she looked like a princes came from a fairy tale, everyone was astonished by this breathtaking moment.

When doors were opened to get into a reception hall, the guests were surprised with changing flower colors from whites to dusty pink with buttercream. Each reception table and every chair were dresses in cream and dusty pink colors the same as the bridesmaids’ dresses; which meant we were able to incorporate a mix of pastel colors in décor and flowers to create an elegant and classy look. We used a gorgeous array of crystal glasses to hold flowers and candles.

The first dance was defiantly one of the memorable parts of this evening for everyone.

A sweetheart table arrangement had a cascade element as well as a bridal bouquet. The same cascade design with smiling Phalaenopsis orchids we used to decorate a beautiful four tears cake.

Bride testimonial :

Dear Lana,
We want to thank you for the way in which you made our wedding just perfect. Not only were the floral arrangements unique and beautiful, but you were always a pleasure to work with. Your positive, pleasant demeanor and supportive attitude helped us stay more relaxed during the very stressful times. We also want to thank you for your assistance in advising us regarding the overall planning of our wedding and suggestions for the best vendors. Everything was managed perfectly and every vendor did their job well. We could not have wished for more.
Sincerely,
Robert and Olga E.
